Right, so lets assume for the purposes of this excersize only that Labour lose the general election. So who replaces Gordon?
Let's decide between:
Alastair Darling (the man with the funny eyebrows)
David Milliband (the one who went to Benton but denies it)
Jack Straw (the one who's been in the cabinet for years)
Peter Mandleson (The one that looks like Darth Vader according to Frankie Boyle)
It's interesting, since Straw has been in it for so long that he muat have lots of support, but had he made too many enemies? Milliband could be seen as a new and young face to the party who is in touch, but many think he is suspicious. Darling has the support of a lot in the party, so does that give him a chance, or does he lack public belief? Mandleson is very controversial, but didn't that work with Boris Johnson?
